The Lake Country Paintwork Clay Applicator Pad attaches to your dual action polisher. It works with the Porter Cable 7424XP, Meguiar's G110v2 or Griots GG6 and allows you to clay your vehicle more effectively than ever before. The pad itself is a high-density white foam-polishing pad and has a velcro backing that attaches to the backing plate on your DA polisher. As you clay your vehicle, the foam helps to keep the clay lubricated and gently polishes your paint to a smooth gloss while the clay removes bonded surface contaminates. The pad is made from special non-abrasive foam that helps to enhance your finish when used with your favorite clay lubricant. The Lake Country Paintwork Clay Applicator Pad works with a 5" or 6" backing plate. Use with a Dual Action Polisher only. Not for rotary buffer use.

Directions:
Shape 6 to 8 ounces of clay into a round patty and place in the middle of the pad. The foam area that holds the clay is slightly tacky and designed to hold the clay in place. Mist the clay and the clay pad heavily with your favorite clay lubricant. Place the Clay Pad on the surface of your paint and start your polisher at low speed. We recommend setting 3. Move the pad up & down and back & forth in a 2' x 2' area with enough pressure to flatten the foam and create contact with the clay and the paint. Continue polishing with moderate pressure until desired results are achieved and your paint feels smooth to the touch. You will need to re-lubricate the clay when surface tension is noticed or the surface becomes dry. Always keep the clay pad surface well lubricated. Wipe vehicle residue off and proceed to polishing and waxing.

Tip: Always make sure your polisher has come to a complete stop before lifting the pad from the vehicle surface. Lifting the pad to soon while the machine is still running may result in the clay bar detaching from the pad compartment. Your clay bar must be discarded and not used again if ever comes in contact with the floor or any other dirty area it.
